Sohail Posted January 13, 2021 Share #1  Posted January 13, 2021 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi all, I've just bought the ZEISS Distagon T* 1.4/35 ZM and want to use it on my Leica SL2. When I attach it, the SL2 tries to identify the lens and can't because it's not a Leica M lens. It's a Zeiss M lens. So the question: what is the right setting? TIA

Sohail Posted January 13, 2021 Author Share #3 Â Posted January 13, 2021 Thanks! I did think about doing that but was wondering if the profiles match perfectly.
jrp Posted January 13, 2021 Share #4  Posted January 13, 2021 I wouldn’t apply any in camera profile, but just do so in Lightroom, if you use that.

Not critical in all situations, of course, but something to keep in mind.

TIA @Sohail Hi, We recommend to test the lens profiles "28 f/2 ASPH. 11604" or "28 f/2.8 ASPH. 11606" on a digital Leica M-mount body with the Distagon T* 1,4/35 ZM for best correction results.
