Sohail Posted January 13, 2021 Share #1 Posted January 13, 2021 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi all, I've just bought the ZEISS Distagon T* 1.4/35 ZM and want to use it on my Leica SL2. When I attach it, the SL2 tries to identify the lens and can't because it's not a Leica M lens. It's a Zeiss M lens. So the question: what is the right setting? There is one good reason to apply the closest profile, or any profile that exists in the SL2's list of lens profiles, and that is that the image stabilization won't work with an unknown lens. TIA @Sohail Hi, We recommend to test the lens profiles "28 f/2 ASPH. 11604" or "28 f/2.8 ASPH. 11606" on a digital Leica M-mount body with the Distagon T* 1,4/35 ZM for best correction results.
