  1. I have the SL 24-90, but it is very heavy and a monster when we are walking on the streets: quality Mde in Germany. 24 -70 is lighter, less bulky, 2,8, half the price and it is still a LEICA. 2 different animals. So I ordered mine.
  2. @Erikvw, about the new Noctilux 50/1.2 Silver Limited Edition: they will be really only 100 units, because they are numbered until 100!
  3. @Erikvw, It was confirmed by LEICA's managers in Wetzlar and can be seen here too: https://www.meister-camera.com/en/product/9007/leica-summicron-m-2050mm-edition-safari
  4. @Erikvw Limited Production - 1000 pieces planned worldwide. The first lot of 500 is sold out. The second second lot is still on sale with many pieces available in the world.
  5. @Sohail Hi, We recommend to test the lens profiles "28 f/2 ASPH. 11604" or "28 f/2.8 ASPH. 11606" on a digital Leica M-mount body with the Distagon T* 1,4/35 ZM for best correction results. Best, Your ZEISS Camera Lenses Team
  6. Just to understand: Does it come with Built-in GPS?
  7. The new SL2 looks like the same size comparing with the Sony a7R4. If truth, it will be a dream with the SL Summicron Lenses!
  8. We know they are MADE IN JAPAN, but what is the manufacturer of them: HOYA or MARUMI?
  9. Leica today announces the much-heralded 35mm Apo-Summicron lens for the SL system. Back in October when we were with the LHSA group at Wetzlar, designer Peter Karbe was clearly very enthusiastic about the future product and felt that it could be one of the finest optics ever produced by Leica. It fills a gap in the SL lens line-up but comes at a time when the L-Mount Alliance is broadening the appeal of the standard. From the outset, the 35mm App-Summicron will complement not just Leica’s own SL but also the two new Panasonic, the S1 and S1R. https://www.macfilos.com/2019/02/28
  10. This is a very limited run edition - 300 pieces -, but exactly the same regular Black Edition! Is it really special or a limited edition without a real appeal?
  11. According to Steve Huff, the Leica's Limited Editions deliver the best quality possible within the Leica Camera AG criteria.
  12. 1) Leica Summaron-M 28 f/5.6, matte black paint 2) Leica Summilux-M 28 f/1.4 ASPH, silver anodized 3) Apo-Summicron-M 50 f/2 ASPH, black chrome
