While I was updating my portfolio with the more gentle editing with C1, I noticed that editing style effects a lot how visible are the differences between Leica and the rest.

The set of Emilia and Jonas is very nice. Which camera and lenses did you used for this set?

C1 gives very natural images. I like it.

Interesting range of comments on AF noise. I have no experience with video. Perhaps that’s why there are very different experiences reported. I have very seldom tried AFC. I have never used Sony either for that matter.

Using AFS for stills, I find both Summicron SL lenses (35 and 50)  focus operation inaudible, near instant, very accurate and with superb image quality for portraiture, beauty, fashion etc; no idea on for sport or panning or face recognition etc. Via the adapter the S lenses are noticeably slower and with more motor noise on the SL cameras, which isn’t unexpected.

My SL Summicrons all sound like that in AFc if you hold the shutter release at half press. Just the depth from de-focus system racking the focus group back and forth, the same thing that blurs the image in the viewfinder. I don't shoot video, but I use tracking with AFc quite a bit in a focus and recompose technique and find it to be reliable and accurate. As stated above AFs is silent because the camera only focuses once.

Mainly I shot with SL paired with Noct50 0.95 and M10P with Summilux28. I did also use Noctilux75 and summilux 21. All other images on the site are shot with Canon.
