Same location. Focused with the rangefinder - not perfect but not too bad, taking into account the shallow DOF and the absence of a tripod. Worked better than I thought, based on what I read on the Internet.

Wow, impressive. Keith, did you achieve  that amazing focussing with the electronic  Visoflex finder  or the rangefinder ?    and : I keep saying, I should use mine more often too....☺️

Lightest of all recent M 135s, at about 454 grams. Predecessor 135 Tele-Elmar is 500g (older versions) or 550g (last version with built-in hood).

Slightly heavier than a 75 APO-Summicron (430g), and lighter than a 90 Apo-Summicron (500g).

Thanks! That’s pretty good, considering all,

I have the 75 cron, the main driver over the 90 cron was weight/size.  I’m going to rent one and check it out for my style. I tend to go out for the day with a 2 lens kit.... walk the streets, grab lunch, maybe stop and read, chat with folks and just casually have fun shooting photos. Bottom line is im not hiking or lugging it for hours on end.
