Greg, Nice Kit !  .... looks like 21 - 35 - 75 - 135 ....you've got me day dreaming

I just compiled a similar “mirrored” outfit to complement the M if/when I want a different experience, a Nikon Df and 4 classic F mount lenses; an 18mm f3.5 AIS, 35/1.4 AIS, 85mm f1.4 AIS and 135mm f2 AIS.

Here, I am using the 135mm APO-Tele with my SL2, I love this lens and camera combination. That's my boy, Finn.

Lovely, wonderful, beautiful and razor-sharp photos!   I hope to get my 135 f/4 TE back soon, and if it works like what I see up above, I will be thrilled with it!

I am very, very impressed!  Clicking on images and zooming in and in and in and they still look great at what I think is 100% size.

Strong crop from 1:3.4/135mm Apo-Telyt at f/4 with M10.

There are so many wonderful photos, but this one especially caught my eye, as it is close to what I often try to do (with a 50mm).  Excellent in every way.  I hope to get my lens back from B&H in five or six weeks - when I bought it, used, the rear element had been put in upside down by someone who didn't know better, so I returned it for repair.   I love the reflections in the water too!

So - ummmm - can I post 135mm Tele-Elmar-M pix here? Or should I start a new thread?

Fine by me. 135mm in general is a great focal length for landscape photography. 🙂

As I and many others did not explicitly indicate the lens, which is implicit due to the topic, you should however please indicate that you used a different lens.

I just checked the price of the Leica 135mm f3.4 APO-TELYT-M  - $4500 or so.  From viewing the above images, the new lens seems to very much like my 135mm Tele Elmar. that sells used for around $500.

Once I returned my incorrectly assembled TeleElmar to B&H and they put the rear element back in right-side-up, I've been very, VERY impressed with it.  It seems to be exceptionally sharp, much more so than my "average" Nikon telephoto lenses.  I'm glad that I purchased the Visoflex, but that's not going to help me on my M3....
