LocalHero1953 Posted December 23, 2020 Share #8 Posted December 23, 2020 His Contax 645 looks like it's been flour-bombed as well. 2 positive feedback ratings, 1 negative (for a defective camera). Caution advised.

rramesh Posted December 23, 2020 Share #10 Posted December 23, 2020 (edited) One way to dehumidify an object is to place it in a barrel of uncooked rice. Used when phone drops into water. Guess he used flour. Edited December 23, 2020 by rramesh

Good To Be Retired Posted December 23, 2020 Share #12 Posted December 23, 2020 (edited) I've got a chainsaw that hasn't been touched in about 30 years. It's stored in the same shed with my lawn tractor and looks pretty much like the camera. ."66.7% Positive feedback". Gotta be a clue there Edited December 23, 2020 by Good To Be Retired
farnz Posted December 23, 2020 Share #13 Posted December 23, 2020 This is actually the latest Leica M10 'Christmas' special edition that's decorated to look like it has a thin covering of snow. You can tell because it's a matching body and lens set. Leica expects to release a Leica M10 'Summer' special edition in 6 months that's decorated to look like it has a covering of sand and is supplied with a resin* bucket and spade. *The resin is the Mont Blanc "special resin" that's used in Mont Blanc pens. Pete.

I have always been amazed how a company can refer to plastic as "precious resin" and get away with it. 😄

But the term Plastic covers a multitude of products. Precious resin means high quality plexiglass or plastic. jdlaing Posted December 23, 2020 Share #17 Posted December 23, 2020 Precious resin in this case means thermosetting resin that is molded once and can’t be remolded. It is hybrid material.
LocalHero1953 Posted December 23, 2020 Share #18 Posted December 23, 2020 Who cares🙂? I was given a fancy Mont Blanc pen for giving a talk in the Gulf. I got over £100 for that piece of plastic on ebay.
