Leopard & one of her two cubs, late yesterday afternoon @ Zuka Game Reserve S. Africa

Quite a rare sighting in the wild, as they seldom venture into the open with their cubs which are vulnerable to Lions & Hyenas at this young age.

Pineapple detail

Leica SL2-S with 135mm Tele-Elmar f4.0 M wide open.

For years I thought this lens was lacking in sharpness, I've used it on my previous M8 and M9 but never had great results.  Last year I used a Fotodiox Pro adapter to use it on my Hasselblad 907x and realized the lens has outstanding sharpness, the SL2-S and M adapter allow this lens to show it's beauty with a Leica sensor and color processing.

African Pygmy Kingfisher (Ispidina picta)  -this little bird flew into my bedroom window this morning. Picked it up, gave it a few drops of sugar water & it was back on its way after several minutes.  Zuka Game Reserve S. Africa.  The bird's colours are astounding!

Oh no! My teenage son loves my SL2-S. This is going to end up costing me, LOL.  I was teaching him about street photography one day in NYC. This is what he was able to do on his first attempt without any fear! ISO 1600, Sigma 28-70 @ 70mm. 1/400 sec @ f8.

He also asked me to convert it to black and white and ask people which they thought was better, so I will do that!
