Jeff S Posted November 26, 2020 Share #2  Posted November 26, 2020 I’m not a fan of cases, but if I were, I’d also consider Arte di Mano, which receives positive comments here, especially for M bodies. https://leicastoremiami.com/products/arte-di-mano-half-case-for-leica-sl2-with-battery-access-door-covered-style-black-with-red-stitching?variant=33590173401219  Jeff
Dr. G Posted November 27, 2020 Share #3  Posted November 27, 2020 For my Q2 I loved the case I had (Arte do Mano) and then switched to the RRS L plate with grip since I was using a tripod more.  With the SL2 I just have the RRS L plate on it  and don’t miss having a case - but, again, I use a tripod quite a bit.
caissa Posted November 27, 2020 Share #4  Posted November 27, 2020 I find a case for SL2 somehow unnecessary. (Even bad if I need to change the battery - not too rarely).  😇

I even have mine set up with an attached RRS B9 plate for tripod use.
tangfj Posted December 2, 2020 Share #6  Posted December 2, 2020 +1 for Arte di Mano... I make my own leather goods ( https://www.instagram.com/ysrasupply/ ) and feel Arte di Mano is in a class of their own compared against a lot of the other camera case makers. That being said... on my SL2 I don't use a half case and just opt for a RRS plate on the bottom...
marcolinger Posted December 6, 2020 Share #7 Â Posted December 6, 2020 Advertisement (gone after registration) SL2 has already a monster size. Adding a case would be real overload ! Â
