Tuna,

please tell us more about this fascinating building. Where is it and what are its function and history? Which part came first: the round part or the enclosing building? Are they joined?

The slope of the courtyard is also amazing!

David, it is the Chapel of the Holy Cross in the second (of three) courtyards of the Prague Castle. Built in the late 1700’s, the Chapel currently holds a collection of Medieval art. I didn’t go in or get much closer and don’t know much more…

Thanks for the information. I shall investigate next time I am in Prague.  Your photo is quite fascinating!

A great set there @Derbyshire Man - thank you. Looks like you had a good day out in the Peaks, nicely processed too.

Thanks John, it's an amazing camera. Those last two buildings it was nearly dark so amazed they came out as well as they did. Also loving that set of portraits by trickness.

An interesting structure. Do bees live in it, or what is its purpose?

David

It is an art installation. It transmits the sound of a bee hive and plays it back to those standing inside. The bees make a kind of ambient music.

The person underneath was just peacefully standing and listening - I actually didn’t see her when I took the photo because it was so dark. I am still astounded how much shadow detail you can pull out of the Q2 Monochrom raw files.

Quite amazing and a good photo. Thanks for the explanation. I think the dynamic range of the Q2M exceeds that of the Q3 that I am hoping ot have s o o n...

Never seen B&W of Mono Lake before.  These are nice.  Maybe I will go back through my Mono Lake photos and see if any could be converted successfully.  Have not been there since I have owned my Q cameras, so won't be able to post them here.  Thanks for the idea.

Yes indeed! We had a wonderful meal with friends over on the left bank.  Wish I could remember the name. Great city.
