It reminds me of friends “Yoopers” who have cabins for hunting and fishing in the Upper Peninsular of Michigan. Pan fried breakfasts with coffee and a little shot of something spiritual to keep out the cold.

Well in fact that’s all it is: a cabin. In this case at the edge of a frozen lake, or sometimes tucked away in the reed if there’s a skatingtour: hot chocolate, rookworst (very Dutch), beer and something stronger if you like. Very cosy or ‘gezellig’ as we say in Dutch:)
