How to upload images: Prepare the image as follows: 1.   The image should be sRGB and 8-bits 2.   Reduce the size to 2048 pixels on the longest side. Hi Louis. I saw you are interested in buying the 35 summerlux to go with your 18-56mm which is sometimes too slow for you.

I just want to tell you that I am going on a trip to Peru in April and I decided to order a 23mm f2 to go along with my 18-56mm despite I have the 35 summerlux too.

The 35 is superb but also big and kind of heavy compared to the 23. The fov is also narrower making it less versatile for traveling purpose in my opinion.

My plan is to use the 18-56mm for eveything and the 23mm f2 when light goes dim only.

My current set up is Leica T (x2; one is for the wife) and :

11-23mm

18-56mm

55-135mm

35mm f1.4

And soon 23mm F2

 

I just wanted to share this with you :)

Maybe I'll change my mind about what to bring for the trip but my wish is to do as much as possible with the least amount of lenses because I am afraid of the every two minutes lens switch syndrom :D
