Lovely.  Which part of Maine is this?  Portland area or further north - near Belfast?

Strange light.  The sky and clouds look surreal.  Was it like that, or is it the lens or some processing?

It was a very strange light. I have more shots of that same evening, and in all of them the pure light gives very strong colors that are also highlighted by this old  ( film ) lens that is producing very saturated colors. Actually, I had to lower the saturation for this shot before posting.

Louis, regardless of which lens you use, your photos always have a consistent look about them with light and colors that are so aesthetically pleasing, and always with interesting subject matter.

Rob

Rob, thank you so much for your feedback; your comments are very kind and encouraging. ... Actually, I am always very impressed by your work and the kind of IQ your photos always have. You really make T/TL shine! :)

TL2 with 180mm f/2.8 APO-Elmarit-R + APO-Extender-R 2X @f/5.6 . . .

Although the 280 APO seems to be generally regarded as the superior lens, even with teleconverters, this combination has given me better results over the years because the lighter weight makes it easier for me to handle.

Pied Triller . . .
