Frolicking outdoors today.

Mild temperature, a tad humid with a light breeze.

Leica 35mm TL

Would love constructive criticism on this photo, as well as advice regarding post processing.

Thanks,

Rob

Rob, something in your shot reminded me of a picture I took a few months ago with T and Nikkor 85 mm.... Maybe the back light, or perhaps the nature!..

As for my feeling about your shot, since you are asking, it may be a little too saturated, and maybe  the trees on the right should more focused. Since the space on the right  side of the frame is very important, I guess it should be more in focus (as a landscape); or, completely out of focus! ... Just my 2cts, my friend. ;)

Or, maybe we've just got a thing for those long legs? :p

Ahhhh; long legs! I love them for sure!  :D

OH, BTW, I have a "technical" question in regard to this site. How come sometime the picture is coming with our "quote", and some other times we just see the link?... Is there something that we should do different for each case?

That question is better directed to the moderators.

Far too much to look at; I'd go back to the original image file and crop it heavily to just show the birds - exclude most of the foreground and especially exclude the fountain on RHS .

True.

I played with this shot a little in my Photoshop and, keeping the original frame in mind, I noticed that it would benefice with more contrast, less saturation, and darker in the light parts. But I am very surprised of chromatic aberration that this lens is giving! More specially on top right. I tried to correct that and make the whole area darker; and, to my eyes, it is improved.

Dunk and Louis,

Thank you. Here's a revision.
