We  just got back from Costa Rica ..one of my favorite stops was at the Pottery Workshop of the Chorotega People.  They make gorgeous pots - their methods and symbols go back approximately 700 years.  We were treated with a demonstration.  ..  And Yes .. I did end up carrying a large pot on the airplane back home.  I had the 55-135 mounted on the camera so I used it rather than change lenses.  It was  pretty dark in the studio so I turned the ISO up to 800.

TL2.  F3.6, 1/100 55-135 at 58mm

These are really good pictures - I liked all of them and the first was my favourite.

Vikas,

Thank you for the kind words.

Here is another from Costa Rica.  Leica 23  T  f 2 @  @5.6 -

I guess I was attracted to the color and culture of this small nook in the wall.  I do like the 23mm Leica lens - I just need to use it more often.

What a small world!...

The other day, I saw this homeless  sitting in a Miami street. He looked very familiar!... I did not have any camera with me, but took a quick shot with my IPhone.

Still very intrigued,  I went through my Leica T files at home; and, eureka! ... Amazingly, I found him in a folder from my Washington DC Leica T shots!...

This proves that even homeless people know how to live. Summer in Washington DC; and, winter, in Miami!... Not bad!   B)

I  wonder if this gentleman is not one of those eccentric "philosophers" or writers with a comfortable bank account who just have a "different" life style. In both photos from different time and place, he is writing something!... Charles Bukowski came to my mind!... lol

The first shot if with Leica T, and the second, with  IPhone (with my apologies)... :)

. I figured why not try photographing models when you get the chance. They move more than flowers. Edited by WinnowingFan
