I have been neglecting my beautiful T ever since I had CL. So today, I decided to un-dust it.... First, I updated the firmware, and as you know, when you update the firmware, your whole setting disappears!... ( I hope it wont be the same with CL!!!) ... When setting up the camera, I completely forgot how to set up the magnifier for MF. After a long struggle, I finally made it! :)

But I must also admit that besides the camera beauty, I also love the straight forward of the interface.

Somehow, ( maybe because of the habit), I find focusing with Visoflex is easier than with CL 's EVF! ... I realized I could shoot faster with T. But there is no doubt that the IQ of CL/TL2 (sensor) is superior.

Some from today; T with Nikkor 50 mm, f/1.4

Great photos, as usual.  For me, MF with the CL is much easier than with the Visoflex, particularly with the great focus peaking on the CL.  Otherwise . . . my T's AF these days is really pretty good with the software update!

hi everybody

I wonder if somebody has compared the color rendition OOC from the T , TL2 and CL, as I was told

by salesmen from the Leica Store Amsterdam that the T has a Sony sensor, while TL2 and CL

definitively NOT. Probably CMOSIS or Tower Jazz and comparable with SL and M10?

I higly appreciate the neutral colors (JPEG and DNG) OOC from the T with M lenses, especially the

Lux/Mandlers ( T lenses have also more color contrast/saturation)

I know I can correct in post but it’s nice to save extra work.

Looking at my film images it’s sometimes quite a world of difference.

Thanks.

Dre

A photo shoot

This lady was apparently trying to shoot her beloved dog in front of that giant statute. But I wonder how much of that gigantic art work could she really see in her cel phone frame from that short distance?

?... But what do I know! ;)

I received my 23mm f2 Leica T lens today..  Here are a few test shots on the TL2.  At first look, it is certainly sharp,  very small and lightweight, seems to stay sharp all the way down to f2.0.

An absolute delight to have a truly pocketable T!

Apologies for the following blasphemy; this lens (made in Japan) is very characteristic of the Panasonic 14mm f/2.5 M4/3 lens that I loved on my Olympus. No such thing as a coincidence?

I am still in the process of seeing just what my new TL2 camera can do.  The Sun came out the other day and I tried my Zeiss 35mm f 2.8 ZM with the Leica M-T adapter.  The 24 meg resolution of the sensor permits major crops with little loss in detail.  This lens is really quite tiny which makes it a very small kit with great potential.  The EVF allows clear focusing with or without using the magnification available.
