A nice afternoon walk around the farm, with new lambs everywhere.

Not the perfect combination camera and lens, but equally nice to carry just the same.

Cropped from the original.

I like it too, but it does look a bit overcooked?

Gary

Hi Gary, yup I gave it a good roasting :-)) . Quite liked it. Below is the colour version, lightly poached. Tony.

I actually like the B&W better, but I do have a thing for B&W.

The colour is nice as well. Very nice. Straight out of camera or a bit of HDR? They are certainly "rich", both of them.

The now sold wide, it was the 11-23?

Yes. I thought I'd have a better answer to the honest, reading the file info, but I had deleted the original, so all I had to go on was the time from the processing, which was about midday.

Hi Gary, I can't say exactly what the processing was,it was done some ago,but it might have a touch of hdr. Yes it was the 11-23,optically a great lens, but I didn't like the bulk of it.For wide, I much prefer to use the CV15MM Mk1 with adaptor on the T.

Ah ha, perfect (the T vs CV comment I mean).

I have been procrastinating about the 11-23 for a while, and had thought to buy it, but of late have decided against anything until after the new camera(s) arrive.

Part of the problem with the APS sized chip is the wide end, and my widest M lens is the humble 28mm. This gives a very slightly wide view but nothing to write home about.

So I have been thinking perhaps the CV15, but want to buy a used one, due costs.

The fact that you have one, after having the superb 11-23 buoys me, so I'll continue the search.

Hi Gary, just as a note, I wouldn't say that the cv15 is "better"than the T wide,my choice was driven more by the handling difference. The cv15 is no slouch though, the latest mk3 version apparently the best. But again I love the mk1 because of the size. Also the mk1 is easier on the pocket, when dosh is tight. I bought mine 3/4years back on amazon for 180€ Inc finder. I think I just got lucky. Tony.
