The Helliabores are stunning at the moment, prolific in our garden as well.

I slipped the T onto a tripod, and lined up a section of the garden, shot the same segment with the Summicron M 35mm and then the Summicron R 35mm (just happen to have both, so thought I'd try).

Then swung onto a closer up view but used the Summicron R 35mm, simply as it focuses close, whereas the M 35mm does not.

All this discussion about the new T2, made me want to go out into the garden and shoot a few flower shots.

I've burdened you with the Helliabores, so took this past it's best daffodil.

And some Snowdrops, took a series with the R28-70, and some with the R35/2 Summicron.

Both lenses are nice, through the LCD, the 35/2 appears "crisper".

And to finish today, different daffodil, same camera, different lens.

A few rabbits about the fence-line next to the house, but by the time I stalked them, they had departed.

This daffodil at about 20 feet.

No processing done, with the exception of crop frame and resize. The rest of the "glow" comes from the Pentax 50mm f1.2

Wide open and Leica T. Tony.

Hi Gary, no not yet, although i think Pentax probably produced it primarily for that purpose. I bought it for that dreamy glow, i love it for flowers and colourful objects. Very impressionistic without the PP.  I only bought it a short while ago, so i will be trying it on humans at some point.   :) . I see it as a cheap ( 250 pounds ) Noctilux  for the Leica T .   Tony.

Some obligatory flower shots using T and 35 1.4 TL.

Initial impression: nice and sharp at 1.4, beautiful bokeh

Having a Leica Q, I am spoiled by its quick autofocus; the T is definitely slower. The Q has more pop, is more contrasty and has better IQ, but I'm still experimenting with the 35 1.4 so may tweak my thoughts some.
