im thinking of buying an R lens above 90mm ..which ones would you recommend ?

One can see why! I also like the Summicron-R 1:2/90.

I am not an expert of Leica glass - yet. However I do have an Elmarit-R 1:2.8/180 and I like that lens very much also. I have a Summicron 1:2/50 as well as the 90 I just like them all very much. The out of focus bokeh is just fantastic.

ramarren on this forum is the man to ask about R glass.

Currently a threat is going: Leica SL with M or R lenses?

Wonder what he will say? Of course it also depends on what your main subjects are as to the mm lens you need. Then there is other factors like weight and what you feel comfortable holding, unless of course it is always tripoded.

Very good, Louis! That's some lens and you're using it so well with the T. The clarity of the detail is amazing, especially in #2.

Thanks, Robert. I quite like this lens and I am trying to use it more often in the street, although it is not very practical for street photography! But I have to get used to it and to keep it more often on the camera! ;)
