Leica T with APO Summicron 90/2 ASPH. ISO 100, f/8 @ 1/1,000

I'm finding that, despite the limitations of the rangefinder, a digital M is better for this sort of photography than the T.  The problems with the T (which I hope they'll fix) are that the EVF activates too slowly, and even with auto review turned off, there is a significant blackout and auto review - this means that you have to anticipate and focus very well.

That said, I am usually happy with one or two shots from an outing (luck does have to play some part).

Just a couple from a quick walk today, really just trying a new (to me) used lens I got.

Picked up an old Summicron M 35mm (V2) for the M6 (and film) but wanted to try it as well on the T. The aperture "lever" is a tad fiddly, but apart from that, very happy.

Could only attach the one image for some reason.

Bit of a stroll while my dearly beloved was getting a tooth pulled.

Cut short by a "come get me, I'm finished" text, but managed a few pictures.

Liking the T and B&W preset JPEG, minimal LR processing needed.

Used the Elmarit 28mm on this occasion, enjoy that lens on the T, sort of wish it was the latest (smaller) version, but happy anyway.

I wonder if it might be better cropped to square from the right hand edge, the deer lying down is a bit confusing. Excellent focus, I love the midges showing up at 90m!

Thus another version :)  … but prefer to retain rectangular format so the main subject is not central.

Leica T and accessories boxed up and sent off for sale.

I like the camera a lot, but it isn't serving its purpose.  What I wanted was a camera I could use for sport and action shots, and I found that the M is a better camera for this.  The T should have been great, but the EVF black out and inability to machine-gun shots with fast following AF while I followed the subject in the view finder just didn't work.

Parting shot from a very nice camera, but not for me.  ISO400, 55.9mm (cropped), f/5.6 at 1/3200, processed in SEP.

Hi,  just some pictures I took today on my first ever outing with the T.  Found a great vintage shop and thought would test out the depth of field and see how it dealt with a dark shop.  All with the 23mm cron.

Cheers Richard.
