We've had this debate before.  If you want LUF to host your pictures they keep display consistent and costs under some control by insisting on limiting picture size.  Many of us don't do that, but put pictures of whatever size we want to keep around on a hosting site (Flickr, for example, is only $60/year and was free for a long time), and link them in when we want to show them here.  The LUF standard view seems OK, and one or two clicks gets you to the full-sized version.  I have about 9000 images up in Flickr saved for various projects.  I'm sure others have even more.

Every week I photograph these buckets of flowers grown by Hmong farmers who bring them to the Saturday Farmers Market and make bouquets to sell. They are such eye candy it's hard to pass by without taking a shot or two.
