blovitch Posted August 19, 2007 Author Share #3 Posted August 19, 2007 Thanks..... The BBC used this shot last week on the news. I wanted to use my R9 DMR but in the recent chaos I couldnt find the Remote Release for the R9... topoxforddoc Posted August 19, 2007 Share #4 Posted August 19, 2007 Tim, Great shot. Sorry to hear about your house. Did you have the 5D shutter open on bulb. I watched the meteors for a while, but didn't have a functioning tripod. Someone had borrowed it and not returned the QR plate!! Charlie
blovitch Posted August 19, 2007 Author Share #5 Posted August 19, 2007 Yes the exposure was on Bulb. The 19mm works really well on the 5D with a Novoflex. Has any one tried the little add on to the adapter that gives focus confirmation ?
stuny Posted August 19, 2007 Share #6 Posted August 19, 2007 Tim - Exquisite. How long an exposure?

blovitch Posted August 20, 2007 Author Share #8 Posted August 20, 2007 The exposure was around 20 seconds. I actually managed to capture 3 streaking perseids meteors. But this was my favourite.
