When they had their old floodlight, I didn't have to switch on the kitchen lights. The bunker is from the last war; these bunkers are popular with music groups for practice sessions, since they are completely soundproof. That's it, I hope you enjoyed the tour Stefan Welcome, dear visitor! andybarton Posted June 14, 2020 Share #43 Posted June 14, 2020 We also went for a walk around our closest town. We have lived here five years and this was the first time that we had ventured down part of this river. This is the Weaver Navigation, in Northwich and (after the white swing bridge), Acton Bridge. I only had one photo planned before and I'll start with that: We didn't meet in Tilburg, but at least I got to the Tilburgbaan 😁 Welcome, dear visitor! It seems my day/life revolves around my dog Jupiter, so he stars in my selection. A lovely slice of life from St Kilda(?), John, and wonderful to see Jupiter again. It sounds like he's calming down a bit now and his markings seem more prominent and impressive than they might have been in 2017. I hope you're all in good health and things are getting back to normal after the pandemic and those terrible forest fires. Pete.
erl Posted June 14, 2020 Share #48 Posted June 14, 2020 Hi Pete, things are OK here, relatively speaking. I believe things are much worse in your neck of the woods. I hope you are managing fine. My pics are all within 5 min walk from home. ie. Sandringham. I am not really allowed to venture further for some idiotic reason. All my neighbours are 'social police' and insist I stay close. I have been amusing myself by scanning 15,000 slides from my past life. Terrifying to relives one's life actually. I can now see how I began. 4
pegelli Posted June 14, 2020 Author Share #49 Posted June 14, 2020 Apologies guys, I had to help our daughter build a foundation for a deck today. So no time until now to process some more photo's Starting with 35 mm Entrance to Fort 's Gravenwezel, a pre WW1 fort of the outer defense ring of Antwerp. It's now a bat resort and cannot be entered (and some summer houses are built on top, hence the tight framing) Welcome, dear visitor! pegelli Posted June 14, 2020 Author Share #50 Posted June 14, 2020 A little further in the woods there's a deserted WW2 bubker, there's no road or path to it, so not a lot of people know about it Welcome, dear visitor! If you can tolerate it's sometimes weird sides, it is a nice place to live, though. Stefan

convexferret Posted June 15, 2020 Share #60 Posted June 15, 2020 (edited) Saturday was mostly spent putting up new fences in the garden, to keep the dogs out of the veggies.
