Visoflex Typ 020 eyepiece rubber cracked

the situation with leica is disturbing , with batteries discontinued , and no repair parts . leicas are expensive and we don't expect them to become 

bricks for lack of repair ability . it was not this way with the film cameras .

i purchased an 020 visoflex at a good price knowing that the eyepiece was cracked thinking i could replace the part from leica . i had the same experience ,

not available . i ended up using crazy glue , and i have a black tape called " photographic tape " which i put around the sides . i don't use the visoflex that much

and this seems to have held the eye piece together . i have used this tape for lots of things such as around the lcd glass protector . wanting a black camera , 

i covered my m2 with this tape . i hope this might be of some help .
