Hi Stuart. This fantastic car is called Bizzarrini (no Bizzarruni, sorry if I correct you) and was built in very few copies in Livorno (Italy).

'63 Chevrolet Corvette Gran Sports. A total of five were made, shown is one of three that were sold to Texas oilman John Mecom Jr. who ran a team to try to compete with the Shelby Cobras, but without factory support even Zora Duntov, the man behind the Corvettes couldn't do much to help Mecom ever win even one major event. 

Horrible aerodynamics were the main culprit........extreme front-end lift specifically.

The engine room......377 cu.in - 6.2 liters, 48mm Webers, huge horsepower & torque, 2150 pounds total, almost 1000 lighter than a stock Stingray............Oh, what might have been.
