Summilux 35 FLE lens hood (12465)

I dinged up my 12465 lens hood pretty badly (and probably saved my lens... camera fell off a bar bench where it was sitting next to me... winter clothing presents problems in Canada in keeping the camera on a shoulder at all times).

It's still totally usable for now, it bent slightly inwards as it landed where the cutout for the viewfinder is so at the weakest point and bent inwards there. Not overly distracting in the viewfinder, certainly a little ugly from the outside (but that's fine for the time being).

My question is: are there alternatives I should be considering to the 12465 hood that I haven't been able to find via Google? I know TvO makes a round hood, not sure I like it more than the stock hood (it's attention grabbing, that's for sure, but I like the compact rectangle of the stock hood). I'd still be interested in hearing people's experiences with it, how well it's constructed, etc. If there are other alternatives I should consider, please let me know. Probably not going to run hoodless, since the current hood probably saved my Summilux (or at least the filter) so I consider it well worth it, but I'd be interested in hearing if people have found any vignetting differences or noticeable glare or other artifacts when not using the hood. Just for information's sake, more than anything.

Not particularly interested in getting an AliExpress special unless there's one specifically made to fit the outside threads rather than the filter threads. If there is one though I want to know about it and buy a few to test, just cause... AE specials are cheap so why not.

12464 is the same hood, don't ask me why i have no idea. Here 12464 & 12465:

Forgot to say that the 12464 hood works perfectly on the 35/1.4 FLE to the point that i use it or the 12465 hood indifferently on this lens.
