Look through the SL, SL2 and the M10M image post threads. You will realize pretty quickly that 46 mega pixels, image stabilization etc have absolutely nothing to do with taking a good photograph.

No. The M to T Adaptors are probably earlier sets when Leica had the Leica T (701). The Leica TL came about very soon due to naming copy rights Leica found themselves in calling their camera Leica T. Hence TL was a legal compliance. 
The T mount became known as L mount. M to Adaptor L came later. I was also told earlier adaptors (m-T) were not aa good as M to L

No. There is no difference only in the naming or engraving call it what you will.  Leica part/model number remains the same. Just if you are buying used I would expect to pay a little less.

I got an M to T thrown in with my SL because Leica was recalling them.  Also have a current M to L.  I have never seen any difference between them.
