...... and a 100% crop ..... there were grumbles elsewhere that the resolution of this lens 'wasn't good enough' based on some testing by a german website ..... 

for a zoom I think it is not that far behind the 90-280 and only loses out in the very periphery when it comes to sharpness..... and colour rendition is spot-on.

Totally agree and the weight advantage is substantial

I was renting the Lumix S 70-200 and then bought a copy which arrived today.  The following are grabbed "test" shots on Leica CL.

 

The flower is @ 200mm, f/4, 1/2500, ISO 5000, not cropped.

The bottle is @ 120mm, f/5.6, 1/400, ISO 6400, rotated slightly to straighten.

The Hoepoe will first beat its prey against the ground or a stone to kill it, and then remove wings and legs which can't be digested, and eat only the juicy parts.
