marcg Posted January 29, 2020 Share #1 Posted January 29, 2020 Advertisement (gone after registration) I'm sure there must be discussions of the relative merits of photographing using the original monochrome as against using an M 10 and then converting to black and white. Maybe somebody would be kind enough to save me a load of hassle and point me there. Ta
Advertisement Posted January 29, 2020 Posted January 29, 2020 Hi marcg, Take a look here Can anyone point me to a discussion of the M9M versus M10 colour version converted to black and white, please. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
UliWer Posted January 29, 2020 Share #2 Posted January 29, 2020 Perhaps this one helps:

Luke_Miller Posted February 1, 2020 Share #5 Posted February 1, 2020 (edited) I don't have an M10, but I did an unscientific comparison among the M9M, M246, and M240. I shot the same subject with all three and the same lens. Looking at resolving fine detail only, the results were (from lower detail to greater) M240, M9M, M246. I would expect an M10 would also rank below the other two. Edited February 1, 2020 by Luke_Miller
