...Which lens would recommend with M8...... VOIGTLANDER ULTRON F2/28MM or 25mm ?

I prefer 25 to 28.

Often I use VL Snapshot-Skopar 4/25 to take Street Fotos.

Took yesterday with the Zeiss ZM 35mm f2. f4.8 iso 160. Unfortunately every time I upload an image here it looks very over sharpened. Here looks nicer: https://www.flickr.com/photos/26238781@N05/24578939793/in/dateposted-public/

Hi, these are my first shots with the M8, which is, in fact, my first range finder.Leica M8 x Voigtländer Ultron 28mm F 2

Good pictures Nils. Particularly for your first M8's. I can see you are a natural.

The B&W's work well...paper whites and black-black's, and still a long tonal range... the secret to B&W work.

Congratulations, Dave S

OOC, totally uncorrected,  JPG with pinhole (0.2mm), 4 sec exposure, 160 ISO.

I usually use 4x5 film for pinhole work, but this just show what you get with an M8 sensor, purely out-of-interest.

You'll note infinite "depth of field"

Pinhole on M8, 4 sec

The Waterloo side of Waterloo Bridge, London, looking North with the National Theatre building on the left (and Oxo Tower peeking out in the background).

Taken with an M8.2 and 35mm Summilux Asph. (pre-FLE) acquired about 40 minutes previously at Aperture Photographic.
