How to upload images: Prepare the image as follows: 1.   The image should be sRGB and 8-bits 2.   Reduce the size to 2048 pixels on the longest side. (smaller sizes can be set, but are not recommended) 3.   Sharpen properly for screen. 4.   Save as JPG to your desktop, reducing JPG quality to produce 2000 kB (5000 kB for sponsoring members). 5.   In Lightroom these parameters should be set in the Export dialog. 6.   In the Forum posting or editing box, click “c

Well, it depends on your taste of course, but for me, this one is good. Focus ring is short throw and almost too easy but it focuses really fast for a 75mm. Aperture ring is solid, maybe a little too close to the focus ring so I've accidentally moved it a couple of times. All in all though, one of the best ergonomic lenses from CV for me. I've nailed focus on a much higher percentage of shots so far then with other lenses in this focal length range.

True true PasMichael, but right now (after much research and contemplation) I'm really leaning towards the Voigtlander 75mm f/2.5

 

Researches are about 90% of the Summarit-M, but at that cost? I just can't justify getting the Leica premium. Also, the 43mm filter-thread works well in my system of lenses, as opposed to the 46mm of the Summarit-M

Thank you Robert. That is exactly why this thread had to be in the Photo sub-section and not in the M8 sub-section.

 

Many, many members never visit the M8 sub-section.

 

I would love to see the people who seem to have posted for the first time in this thread, share their work more openly in the Photo section, in the coming weeks and months.

 

This thread has been the best one so far and I am hoping to prepare to share some images with this soon thanks every one for sharing you Passion with M8!>>>>>>>>:D:

Hello..I have had my M8 w/ Summarit 35 only for three months, so I still don't have too many pictures to choose from. But I love the camera. No postprocessing to this picture. My first contribution to this excellent forum.
