Lovely scene and image.

Small criticism: I do think the blurry vase between the felines is a visual weakness and a bit more d.o.f. that would've included it would have made image a bit stronger.

thanks RW. I think so too. But that was a one shot scene, so I had to be very fast...;)

I still love using my M8. It is my "take-everywhere" camera and I am using it with an Canon LTM 50 f/1.8 lens;

I started this thread with a portrait of Vera at the Hagia Sophia, and so here she is again for the 1000th post. My thanks to all who have been contributing to this thread. CCD sensors are fading into history but I think many of us still admire the way it renders flesh tones, closer to film than CMOS. The M8 maintains it's own unique stamp, it is Leica through and through. Even with the advent of the new M, I still don't know if I will go for the bait?
