How to upload images: Prepare the image as follows: 1.   The image should be sRGB and 8-bits 2.   Reduce the size to 2048 pixels on the longest side. (smaller sizes can be set, but are not recommended) 3.   Sharpen properly for screen. 4.   Save as JPG to your desktop, reducing JPG quality to produce 2000 kB (5000 kB for sponsoring members). 5.   In Lightroom these parameters should be set in the Export dialog. 6.   In the Forum posting or editing box, click “c

Can I remind everyone of the forum size limits for images, please?

 

 

960 pixels on the long side, 300kb max file size. This INCLUDES images linked through from outside hosts such as Flickr or Google.

My first images with my M8. I've sold all my DSLR equipment except speedlights and I have never been happier and free in my photography. Mainly use it for studio and fashion. It produces amazing skintones, great colour and it tethers great with Aperture 3.

No need for an upgrade. Maybe I'll add a 25mm Zeiss and 75mm Summarit to my arsenal...so far I'm a one lens warrior - 50mm F2 Zeiss.

 

Great photos everyone!!!!

 

P.S. it took me 4 hours to read through the whole thread. First time reading through any of the online forum for that long.

It's the best thread. No gear talk- no problem.

I am a habitual dreamer it seems.

Early last Saturday I took off for a hike in my area in Phoenix Arizona. The sun and clouds were just right for a few photo's. This Saguaro Cactus caught my eye but I didn't see the division of clouds until after I converted to B&W. Very interesting!!!
