How to upload images: Prepare the image as follows: 1.   The image should be sRGB and 8-bits 2.   Reduce the size to 2048 pixels on the longest side. (smaller sizes can be set, but are not recommended) 3.   Sharpen properly for screen. 4.   Save as JPG to your desktop, reducing JPG quality to produce 2000 kB (5000 kB for sponsoring members). 5.   In Lightroom these parameters should be set in the Export dialog. 6.   In the Forum posting or editing box, click “c

In my travels I find myself, at times, thinking, I've been here before. Sometimes quite literally. In this case, I was a few hundred yards from where the same quality of light captured my imagination a few years earlier.

Could not sleep last night - heavy rain didn't helped me, to decide for a walk, so I fooled around with Pocket Wizards, M8.2, and flash:

I played with the flash, as I think about upping the ISO a bit to use the M8.2 in even darker places.

 

This shot was lit only by the flash + Noctilux f1 + ISO640:

Hi CaleNic,

your self portrait is quite energetic and expressive. I really like how your lens 'rendered' the image. I can make out that it is from the Summicron branch of the Leica Family Tree, but I can't make out the Focal Length. Could you share that info? Possibly including which flavor/vintage of Summicron 'xx'mm it is, as well?
