How to upload images: Prepare the image as follows: 1.   The image should be sRGB and 8-bits 2.   Reduce the size to 2048 pixels on the longest side. (smaller sizes can be set, but are not recommended) 3.   Sharpen properly for screen. 4.   Save as JPG to your desktop, reducing JPG quality to produce 2000 kB (5000 kB for sponsoring members). 5.   In Lightroom these parameters should be set in the Export dialog. 6.   In the Forum posting or editing box, click “choose Fil

Brighter, overhead and contrasty light has returned. It doesn't mean that images will be "clogged up" with blacks however. 

I hope this gingerbread man is politically correct.

This photo has excellent emotional impact. The red filter doesn't overwhelm the scene I agree your photos are looking different in the best sense!! CHIPS

I’ve been looking for a way to photograph the video gamer and game at the same time without an ultrawide or fisheye lens.  Here it is.  50mm Summilux, 1/60 sec, f/8, iso 12500

Ran in to these folks while hiking.  This particular section of woods is the location where portions of the Blair Witch Project were filmed....  They were actually a very pleasant group.

Your photo has an ancient feel to it -- is it Sepia toned? I'm relieved when I read "They were actually a very pleasant group". It is very haunting yet they all are smiling. Good portrait. CHIPS

Forests are especially challenging for me, because of the light scatter it all looks cluttered. You have done a good job of separating the subject from the background. Thanks -- CHIPS
