I don't see any photo here.

'I am waiting to grow up'

It is, more or less, the title of the book in the centre of the pile, which is '大人になるまでガマンする' (Otona ni naru made gaman suru)

The picture might make a little more sense, or, indeed, be of more interest, once the language is picked apart.

It's the title I was originally going to use for the photo, but I posted it without it, just because...

To be honest,  I'm a bit wary of posting too much explanation for photos. I'm not sure it adds anything much, but I am attracted to the words in photographs themselves. They often change one's reaction to an image.

I suppose I should have explained it in the original post, but then, where's the fun in that?

Best,

Peter

Whenever I can tell it's going to be a cloudy afternoon, I head to the reservoir near my home—with the Monochrom, of course. I put the red filter on and include lots of sky in my compositions. The boaters were a happy accident. Also, the new Select Sky feature in Lightroom 11 is pretty great. 28 Summicron.

Is it me, or are you enjoying your M10M a lot more than the 246?  I see a real difference in your posted photographs.

Thank you for your comment. Personally, I don't notice a difference, but there may be one and I'm too close to see it. I had the 246 much longer than I've had the M10M, and I liked it a lot. It still has some advantages over the M10M, like black and white movies and longer battery life. If there is a difference (hopefully an improvement) it may be that, pretty much by chance, I'm finding better subjects. Makes me think of the quote from Jim Richardson: "If you want to be a better photographer, stand in front of more interesting stuff."
