FMB Posted February 15, 2020 Share #61  Posted February 15, 2020 Advertisement (gone after registration) Thank you, I knew that. It's a pity that those small flashes couldn't co-exist with the TTL set of my home mini studio. Or do you know any trigger able to react wireless ordering to shoot in mode TTL? Because they in slave optic mode only can be used Manual, not as the SF 24D with "A" (auto-flash). Ahhhh!!! Some one told me yesterday that Canon and Nikon are now introducing in their flashes something like this "A" mode as a novelty. Francisco.

sillbeers15 Posted February 15, 2020 Share #62 Â Posted February 15, 2020 There are wireless TTL transmitter/receivers (pocket wizard is one), however it does not support Leica cameras.

It will be fine if yr flash photography is only for local and no international travels are required. Make sure you have the time to use light meter or do trials to get the amount of light correct before you shoot and do not change position as there will be no TTL available. ND filters must be used to bring shutter speed down below 1/250 Sec on fast lens outdoors as there is no high speed sync avail.

Pelu2010 Posted September 19, 2021 Share #66  Posted September 19, 2021 Hey ,  i am using Godox flashes (AD 200 and V1) with the xpro Remote.  you can only use them in manual mode and no HSS.  i use them together with the Sl2-2 , sl2, M10, Q2.  It would be nice if they could do HSS.  But today I will do a Test with ND.  kind regards from Hamburg

Perhaps a secondary fill light with lower intensity from camera left can soften the hush shadow cast on the right side face & neck of the feminine subject when at full or half body in frame,....just my opinion. galleryg Posted October 20, 2021 Share #69 Â Posted October 20, 2021 Can anyone recommend a small shoe mount manual flash for the SL2 for use for fill flash and wirelessly triggering my pc mounted Slave peanut on my flash head controller? I am new to the SL2 and want to make sure I don't fry the electronics. I am finding it hard to find such info from outside of the Leica ecosystem. Any help would be greatly appreciated. jaapv Posted October 20, 2021 Share #70  Posted October 20, 2021 Get a used SF24D. Frying the electronics is not an issue Leica uses 600 V resistant circuits.
FrankX Posted October 21, 2021 Share #71  Posted October 21, 2021 (edited) If you don’t need TTL, the Godox V350F is a great choice, much better than the SF24! Also has integrated remote for off-camera flashes. All Godox flashes for Fuji work great with my M10 and SL2. jaapv Posted October 21, 2021 Share #72 Â Posted October 21, 2021 Maybe, but being able to use TTL is quite handy for fill-flash.

I've also used Fujifilm Godox transmitters on my Leica cameras in manual mode without issue. I just my flash light meter and adjust to match...
