Pre-owned Q2 price question

Hey all,

 

I had someone offer me a used q2 in mint condition except for a dinged lens cap.  Less than 2 months old for 4k total over PayPal?  Seems pretty good, but wanted to get thoughts.  I’m likely to sell in the future when the m11 comes out.  Would I lose much in a year or so at 4k?

I think it depends on what is the real condition and how (often) you use it in a year.

If it's really perfect other than the cap.. It's a good deal.

Get boxes, accessories and original receipt if possible. Buy a replacement cap when you are getting ready to sell it.

You may be surprised... and decide not to sell it

Get the Q2. You won’t be disappointed.

I was able to buy my Q earlier this year, with box's, cap, hood, book, everything except the strap, for $2,400 from a reputable dealer.  It was a couple of years old, but looked new.  Prices were holding even though the Q2 had already been announced.  I would guess that a year down the road, you shouldn't loose much at all, IF you decide to let it go.(my money says you'll end up keeping it)  Great buy in my book.  Have fun with it.
