How to upload images: Prepare the image as follows: 1.   The image should be sRGB and 8-bits 2.   Reduce the size to 2480 pixels on the longest side. (smaller sizes can be set, but are not recommended) 3.   Sharpen properly for screen. 4.   Save as JPG to your desktop, reducing JPG quality to produce 2000 kB (5000 kB for sponsoring members). 5.   In Lightroom these parameters should be set in the Export dialog. 6.   In the Forum posting or editing box, click “choose Fil

Thx Ken - not to diverge from the purpose of this thread, but my main motivation for using the Nocti right now is because it’s challenging (weight, focal plane wide open, focus throw, balance, etc.) It’s so much easier to get good results with a 50 Lux M or my 75 SL APO. But I’m hoping the challenge will lead to improvements and somewhere interesting.

Heinz it looks like you've got quite the dirty sensor in the first image - do you see the blobs and black spots?

Fall afternoon at the river...VE 24-90mm (exposure blend of 2 photos, as with the 24sec exposure time the 3 boats show motion blur so I did do also a shorter exposure without motion blur and blended the 2 photos in PS)
