How to upload images: Prepare the image as follows: 1.   The image should be sRGB and 8-bits 2.   Reduce the size to 2480 pixels on the longest side. (smaller sizes can be set, but are not recommended) 3.   Sharpen properly for screen. 4.   Save as JPG to your desktop, reducing JPG quality to produce 2000 kB (5000 kB for sponsoring members). 5.   In Lightroom these parameters should be set in the Export dialog. 6.   In the Forum posting or editing box, click “choose Fil

Have plenty of Canon glass & thinking to buy an MC-21.  Does the auto focus work?

Yes it works sufficiently enough.. go for it! For any adapted lenses or in fact non Leica lenses the camera will display low battery even if it’s at 75% capacity from my experience.. canon glasses I have tried so far are:

11-24mm, 50mm f1.2, 85 f1.2, 400mm DO IS. 
no issues with AF on these for me

Yes it does work. With some lenses it doesn't work as well as it does with others.  AFS only no AFC. I've been using my Canon EF 400mm f/4 DO IS II USM Lens on the SL2 with the MC-21 adapter since Dec. 2019. I'm very pleased with the way the lens works on the SL2.  AF speed is reasonably fast & accurate with no hunting, the lens' OIS works well & full EXIF information is recorded.

White Rhino calf approx. 4 to 6 months old. As with Black Rhinos, White Rhinos are also highly endangered as a result of them being killed by poachers for their horns. See my post  #3481 in this thread.

Part of the problem is that Rhinos have a long gestation period of between 16 to 18 months; we're at the tipping point where they're being killed faster than they can reproduce. It's always so wonderful & encouraging to see youngsters in the wild. As I've previously mentioned, bizarrely, Covid has been a benefit for many wild species due to the restrictions on movement of people & tighter border controls.
