How to upload images: Prepare the image as follows: 1.   The image should be sRGB and 8-bits 2.   Reduce the size to 2048 pixels on the longest side. (smaller sizes can be set, but are not recommended) 3.   Sharpen properly for screen. 4.   Save as JPG to your desktop, reducing JPG quality to produce 2000 kB (5000 kB for sponsoring members). 5.   In Lightroom these parameters should be set in the Export dialog. 6.   In the Forum posting or editing box, click “choose Fil

Sundown in the back yard.  shot in 75 mm mode.  Only sharpened it a little bit in LR.  F16 1/50 ISO800.

Same as above in 28mm mode with slight crop.  F11 1/50 ISO500.  Tweeked in ON1 Photo Raw 2020.  I like this one better.

I have an abiding memory of Christmas morning in 1993 when I went out for an early morning run. It was bitterly cold and the canals were freezing over, a family of swans was on "my" canal and I could see all the way down to Oude Kerk as the sun was coming up. It was a beautiful run and one of those days when you pinch yourself to make sure you really are alive. Your pictures remind me of that morning - thank you!
