I’m mystified as to cause of he charger failure. When I returned from my trip I sent it to Leica USA for warranty.

Good idea on the Nitecore charger. I’m going to order one! Thanks!

+1 on the Nitecore charger. I always travel with one. In spite of the $250 cost, I do have an extra Q2 battery. With the capacity for taking many hundreds of photos on one battery charge, two batteries definitely gives me a lot of margin even if a charger failed.

Sandgate, Queensland

Blooms of blue-green algae are a natural occurrence in subtropical waters during spring and summer; but whether 'bloom' and 'algae' are any more accurate than 'blue-green' is difficult to establish.

It'll all be gone next week. Probably.

Lively bustle in old walls, a medieval cityscape with idyllic half-timbered houses, narrow streets and cobblestones.
Monschau is the cultural center of a whole region and one of the most popular holiday and excursion destinations in the Eifel.

Old tractors were always red, weren't they? Apart from the grey ones. Now their presence has been enhanced by those outsize green monsters with bright yellow wheels that are so beloved by agribusiness and hobby farmers.

Beautiful ---- is Oskar a Blue Heeler?

He's a Red/Blue mix, probably 3/4 Blue Heeler judging from his markings.

He was abandoned on the road we live on 4 years ago, when he was about 3 months old.  We gave him a home and he's been with us ever since.
