How to upload images: Prepare the image as follows: 1.   The image should be sRGB and 8-bits 2.   Reduce the size to 2048 pixels on the longest side. (smaller sizes can be set, but are not recommended) 3.   Sharpen properly for screen. 4.   Save as JPG to your desktop, reducing JPG quality to produce 2000 kB (5000 kB for sponsoring members). 5.   In Lightroom these parameters should be set in the Export dialog. 6.   In the Forum posting or editing box, click “choose Fil

Hi all,

Two more from my first outing with my new Q2 last Friday.

The first two were posted last Saturday but I fear I posted then in the wrong place. Can't find them in this topic. Must be user error.

Both are processed in Capture One Pro.

Hi Ronald, Thanks for asking. There is sharpness, but its a very thin line and only visible when opened full size in C1. The compression and file size limitations aren't helping.But......I agree fully with your remark. I probably should have stopped down more. F 2.8 was too much for this subject. I am still getting used to the sensor size which makes it extra critical when focusing. It's certainly user error and not the camera's fault. Still learning. 😉
