stuny Posted August 2, 2007 Share #1 Posted August 2, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Just outside the walled city of Mdina is the newer (still old) city of Rabat (which means ‘city”). In Rabat are two ancient sets of catacombs. These three images are from one of the sets. You can see more on the 4th page of Malta photo galleries on our site. samwells Posted August 2, 2007 Share #2 Posted August 2, 2007 Stuart - Great set...I particularly like the abstract and organically-sculptural forms in no. 3, almost like being inside a Henry Moore. cheers: Sam

Chuckcars Posted August 2, 2007 Share #4 Posted August 2, 2007 #3 is best. Give you reason to search the photograph and wonder about time. Technical quality very high.

stuny Posted August 3, 2007 Author Share #6 Posted August 3, 2007 Paul, Chuck & Ivan - Thank you. Sam - Thank you. And you're right regarding it's being inside a Moore. The only downside to these catacombs is the naration on the audio guide. The voice is fine, and the information excellent, but the text is overly long and overly dramatized. kuddel Posted August 3, 2007 Share #7 Posted August 3, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Stuart, they are all impressive pictures, but to me the #1 is best. It is a beautifulI light and I like the arrangement of the niche with all the things inside and around. Regards, Andreas
