Advertisement Posted August 2, 2007 Posted August 2, 2007 Hi Guest Olof, Take a look here Elmar 1:4 90mm why i love it. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Alberti Posted August 2, 2007 Share #2 Posted August 2, 2007 I think it has a outstanding performance and it has become together with my 24mm Elmarit my favourite lens ! Agree it is nice. And this is my reason to like the Elmar 90. Look at the excelent focus area. Though some will want the less DOF, the background curtain takes away the need. Printed large (20x30) the face realy goes alive. What I like over the Elmarit 90 is that this lens has razor sharp and has slick focussing. (Though my 40 years old lens of course should have been regreased...)
Alberti Posted August 2, 2007 Share #3 Posted August 2, 2007 And for those who think the RF cannot give a good impression of the plane of focus, this one. I use pictures like this one for cards. It is not 'old fashioned' soft, it has it's own style of DoF. If I compare it to my 100mm macro [Canon FD], this Elmar 90-M is the pro in naturalezza.
