Saturday 12 June now changed to 21 August:

9:30-10:30. Nieuwlandstraat 28 Tilburg:

Meet at “Pig and rye “ very good food and a nice place to be.

You can also buy some (lunch)bread here if you like.

The “ worstenbroodjes “ a typical southern Dutch treat are the best in the Netherlands.( No really, I’m a connaisseur )  The “pain au chocolat” is better than in France J and their pulled pork…well that’s up to the English guests to decide. Last I read, they were cited in Vogue Magazine.

To summarise the meeting:

Excellent guide, nice walk, good company, many interesting discussions (photography and non-photography), good weather (except the walk after dinner back to the car) nice beer and food along the way.

ok

And Jaap was a topmodel of course, like always:

As you can see, he is the true Leicaman and for him there's only 1 camera . . .

And here we have the major part of the team:

This sounds so well organised and fun.  Is there a thread with photos taken?

For the time being I think that's here, I don't know if Paulus is planning to set up a separate thread for the photos.

Good stuff Maarten and Albert. I think "waargebeurd" is a nice catch and that monochrome portrait of me is very nice.

Good people shots Maarten, the "willing model" really looks like the friendly person he was when we talked to him.

Nice selection Paulus, a joy to watch our whole day unfold.

A few more from me

I know it's cheesy to do selective colour PP, but I couldn't resist 😳

I generally try to take pictures of low-hanging fruit, but here in Tilburg they make it more difficult

But Albert brought a few Russian beauties, of which one kindly modeled for me (and left Paulus in the mist behind)

Maarten was charmed by my old Summilux-50 and my home-brewed suncap that fits inside the filter thread.

Here is how the charm worked out:
