Thanks for the link, Arnaud! The carrelets of the Charente-Maritime are a constant source of fascination for me! Where, exactly, were yours photographed? It looks very like Angoulins, too, but your caption simply mentions 'East coast, France'? Once travel restrictions are lifted I will be going back with my own recently-bought M9M and I'm looking forward to it tremendously.

My thinking was East coast of Gironde river , but having done some researches, I'd say near Pointe de la Coubre, or Saint Palais (this ...), maybe Talmont ( where we can see from above here ).

As we can see in Google Map, we still (fascinating thing) have choices of plenty carrelet's sites, in this area.
