holgerf Posted July 29, 2007 Share #1 Posted July 29, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Exactly as predicted by Leica my 30% lens arrived yesterday: the 75 mm cron. So time of waitung for whatever is over for me: • got my two-times-adjusted body in best condition • all lenses sharp at any distance • all lenses with Leica filters, no colour casts and no changes of color with lens changing • line of lenses is complete (for now at least) - 24 mm Elmarit ASPH - 35 mm Summicron IV (1985) - 50 mm Noctilux II (1981) - 50 mm Summicron V (1990) - 75 mm APO-Summicron ASPH - 90 mm Tele-Elmarit „thin“ version (1985) So Carsten may do his next test job with the 75’s when he has finished his 35 mm job Just quick shots of the new arrived 75 below: ISO 640, 1/125 ISO 320, 1/180, crop 2032x3044 ISO 320, 1/360, crop 1181x1771 Cheers Holger

Jager Posted July 29, 2007 Share #4 Posted July 29, 2007 Lovely shots, Holger. That 75 Cron does very well by your daughter (or whomever the model is). I might just need to get that lens... Jeff

Jeff I've already got the lens - I just need to borrow the daughter! and she is lovely (whether or not she is your daughter). I was only joking about that jacket Holger:)
carstenw Posted July 29, 2007 Share #6 Posted July 29, 2007 I look forward to seeing more results from that lens. Perhaps when I am done with the 35mm lenses (soon, I did some portraits of some friends today), and you are done playing with the new lens, we can swap, and you can try the 35s (or the WATE, if you are still keen), and I can compare the 75 Lux and Cron.
