Perhaps. However, a unit with a decent design would likely sell ten times as many, resulting in an even better cash flow. IMHO, any collector who buys one of these as an investment would do far better in the stock market.

I completely agree with your comments. This new CL design is absolutely awful! If they asked me, I could came with mush more attractive ideas!.... ;)

Matter of tastes. I don't dislike the Pigozzi personally even if i prefer the regular model. Now limited and special editions are a Leica tradition since the thirties. Nothing new under the sun ;).

If this is the best contribution Leica’s marketing department can come with, then the engineers are right. They should padlock the doors and mine the entrances and exits to the marketing department.
