To me it's more about light in, or on, background objects that can provide atmosphere or environment, not about the subject.

The other side is that I might be able to see something lit by with a torch that I can't see with my naked eye.  I could light it with flash for the picture but I prefer a 'natural' unlit look that the Noctilux is able to offer over other lenses.

Antony (MacPartlin) and Declan Donnelly are TV MC's who go by the name of 'Ant & Dec' so I assume it's a cryptic pun based on their names.  They host programmes of popular genres such as "I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here" etc; their work doesn't particularly appeal to me.
